IML4E

Developing the IML4E framework, covering methods, techniques and tools that are dedicated to deliver and maintain high quality smart software in efficient, scalable and manageable processes.

The IML4E project is an European initiative partially funded by the German Federal Ministry of Research and Education (BMBF) through ITEA3. IML4E brings together 18 partners from Germany, Finland, and Hungary. Software AG takes on a pivotal role as the head of the national consortium in Germany. Additionally, it spearheads the second work package on an international scale.

This European project is designed to revolutionize the development and quality assurance of intelligent services and software on an industrial scale. By focusing on the intricacies of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML), it aims to enhance the efficiency of these technologies through automation and reusability across data and training pipelines. The project promises to support continuous quality monitoring for a variety of machine learning tasks, ensuring high standards are maintained throughout the lifecycle of intelligent systems.

Moreover, a key objective of the initiative is to achieve seamless integration with the existing best practices in software engineering, data science, and ML.
